About movies

Movies are considered both one of the most important art forms of the 20th and the 21st century and the most popular form of entertainment in the world. Movies were invented and began to develop as at art form at the end of the 19th century. In the beginning of the previous century, silent movies gained popularity all over the world. In 1927 the Jazz Singer, the first full length motion picture to feature sound was released. The talkies, as they were then called, boosted the popularity of movies and local film industries gained momentum in almost every country in the world. Today, moviegoers still flock to theaters watch the latest movie productions and technological advancements, such as 3-D and IMAX theaters have boosted the industry’s popularity to new heights.

The best exotic marigold hotel A PROGRAMMATICALLY FEEL-GOOD FILM SHOT IN JAIPUR THAT STAYS ON THE SAFE SIDE OF SENTIMENTALITY The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel belongs to the Enchanted April school of agreeable grown-up entertainment, in which transplanted Britons shake off the North Atlantic chill on a life-altering trip to warmer climes. Instead of Italy in the 1920s, the place of renewal is Jaipur, India, and the time is now. Its seven travellers are financially distressed men and women of retirement age lu

Galleon prosecutor aims to cement legacy in Gupta trial

NEW YORK (Reuters) - It was during a quiet afternoon in the sixth week of the insider-trading trial of hedge fund billionaire Raj Rajaratnam that prosecutor Reed Brodsky sprang one of those rare surprises usually seen only in the movie version of a courtroom drama. Brodsky, a federal prosecutor since 2004, seemed to catch defense lawyers and witness Richard Schutte off guard with a blistering cross-examination in the 2011 trial. The former Rajaratnam right-hand man was forced to admit that the biggest inves

I think it’s unlikely. Lucas took a lot of heat critically for the last Star Wars movie and I don’t think he would want somebody else writing and directing it.
ron , Jerusalem hotels

I heard rumors that George Lucas is working on a new Star Wars trilogy that will continue the first one. I keep my fingers crossed.
randhir

You know what? I almost hope it will never happen. The last couple of films were really lousy and ruined all my Star Wars childhood memories.
bar

Lucas is bound to try to do something with the new 3D technology and a new Star Wars trilogy will be ideal for that.
rubi , id scanner

He should do what Spielberg is doing with the new Tin Tin movies and collaborate with Peter Jackson. Can you imagine him doing Star Wars?
lev

Most scripts for current blockbuster movies are really terrible. The script for Avatar, for example, is simply horrendous.

I can’t believe there won’t be any more Harry Potter movies. I am waiting for the Hobbit ones, but nothing will replace good old Potter!
